We are Shelby and Anthony Growe, owners of Springhill Beef. We live on our small family farm located outside of Hamlet, North Carolina. Living and working on the farm is both challenging and rewarding. We have a passion for providing customers with quality beef that’s raised right here on our farm, by us. Animal welfare is top priority on our farm, and our beef is raised with no added growth promoters and antibiotics are only used when a cow gets sick. This is a very rare occurrence and any treated cow is withdrawn until the medicine clears their system. Our steers are raised on pasture their entire life, and finished with a grain diet for about 90 days to ensure our customers have tender cuts of beef. We are also BQA (Beef Quality Assurance) certified, which means that we are trained to provide all customers with safe, quality beef.
